Health and Safety Policy

Isoma Limited is firmly committed to doing all that is reasonably practicable to protect the health, safety and welfare of our employees and others who could be affected by our activities.
The Board, led by the Managing Director, has overall responsibility for maintaining high standards of health and safety and will ensure that adequate resources are allocated to enable the full implementation of this policy. However we rely on all of our employees and sub-contractors to play their part in implementing this policy and drawing to our attention areas in which we can improve.

To ensure continual improvement in our health and safety performance, and in our management system, Isoma will conduct itself according to the following principles. We will; 

  • comply with all applicable statutory laws, regulations and other requirements. 

  • set health and safety objectives and targets, and measure, review and communicate our performance against these throughout the company and to other interested parties. 

  • undertake risk assessments, implement the identified control measures and ensure that safe systems of work are applied in relation to all our activities.

This policy will be reviewed for continuing suitability and effectiveness at Management Review meetings or if required at any other time.

The Health and Safety Management System has been developed to satisfy the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001, and forms part of our Integrated Management System which also conforms to ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
