Isoma has always striven to remain at the cutting edge of technology with regards to their Computer Aided Design facilities. As well as producing comprehensive 2D production line layouts, detailed machine drawings and electrical & automation control schematics, Isoma can also offer drawing services using the very latest in three dimensional design software, Inventor.

Built on many years of experience, Isoma have a dedicated in-house drawing office with a team of engineers who provide draughting and design services to our project and manufacture departments.

Detailed three-dimensional drawings can provide many benefits for both the customer and also for Isoma as a materials handling equipment manufacturer. Using 3D solid modelling for new product development allows Isoma to prove the functionality of a machine at the design stage, at the same time reducing the overall design time, which in turn helps to lower product development costs.

The Key Benefits of 3D modelling

Rendered Visualisations & Design:

Our 3D models provide detailed machinery making it easier to understand complex designs compared to 2D drawings. This allows our designers to explore multiple iterations and refine aesthetics before physical production begins.

Cost & Time Efficiency:

3D simulations can save time because there isn’t the requirement to physically manufacture anything, it can all be created digitally. Within the digital environment the fabricated designs and moving parts of mechanical designs can be fully tested. This process saves money and cuts costs as well as speeding up final manufacture when compared to traditional research and development.

Enhanced Collaboration & Communication: 3D models act as a universal language for architects, engineers, and clients, ensuring everyone involved has a clear understanding of the project and can provide feedback easily.

Optimised Manufacturing & Inventory: 3D models allow for precise measurements and simulation of materials, minimising waste. Furthermore, virtual, high-quality renders can be used for marketing before a product is physically created, reducing inventory storage costs.

Marketing, Sales and Branding:

3D modelling is essential for creating realistic layouts of our clients' materials handling and food and beverage machinery. Using highly detailed and complex 3D models we can produce high-quality, 360-degree machine layout views and even virtual reality and augmented reality (VR and AR).
