Vacuum Handling

For products that need to remain in position along a conveyor line, such as lightweight empty plastic milk bottles that are required to remain upright or flat technical or electronic components that need to remain in the same orientation, a vacuum conveyor is the solution.
Our conveyors are designed and manufactured to suit a variety of applications. They can rise and fall where needed and are optimised for large open factory environments or enclosed areas with limited space, such as cleanrooms.
Holes in the belt allow air to be drawn through due to the channel underneath causing a negative pressure, or suction due to compressed air vacuum pumps. The product creates the seal over the perforations and therefore stays in position.
They are used across various manufacturing industries, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and electronics.
Key Operational Benefits

Secure holding of parts for inspection, photographs and digital cataloguing
-
Ideally suited to lightweight plastics or thin materials, flat or small parts
-
High-density (HDPE) plastic bottles are very lightweight but need to be held upright for the entire process
-
Part and package infeed and outfeed speed matching
-
Printing onto products that need to keep the same orientation
-
Manual or automated assembly where parts are positioned accurately
