History

Isoma Conveyors was established in 1983 with the original company emphasis in the field of process engineering and stainless steel fabrication. When the poly bottle was first introduced into the UK dairy industry a lot of the handling equipment on the market at the time was poorly designed, badly controlled and very inefficient.

Isoma saw this and took it upon themselves to develop their first semi-automatic de-bagging machine and their sleek stainless steel cable conveyor system.

Semi-Automatic De-Bagger Cable Conveyor System

The success & quality of these and other newly developed products, coupled with the excellent service offered by the company, helped elevate Isoma to the position of market leader for bottle handling equipment in the UK dairy industry. With this success inevitably comes expansion, and in 1996 Isoma moved to their current location, setting up offices and a manufacturing base at their purpose built factory in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

At the same time Isoma formed their own in-house automation department. The formation of this department gave Isoma more influence over the development of their system control software and enabled Isoma to offer their customers a more flexible service, including the provision of 'round the clock' back-up & technical support to customers all over the world.
