As bottles are pushed through the trolley packer system, they are controlled via stops allowing them to accumulate forming five rows of four bottles in each. Once these rows reach the next stage, they can be mechanically turned around and pushed onto a shelf in the trolley. The bottles come to rest on a circular plate that is automated to turn the bottles by 180-degrees before being pushed into the trolley. Guides prevent the bottles from moving out of their rows.

All bottles are packed into trolleys with the handles facing outwards to the door, so in the supermarkets they can be easily and safely lifted out to be placed onto shelves. This process works the same for separate bottles or shrink-wrapped packs. Both are turned to the correct orientation to be pushed onto the trolley shelves.

Key Components of the Bottle Turner:

  • Can turn single bottles that are in rows together or shrink wrapped in packs.

  • Fast and reliable to maintain line production speeds.

  • Requires no manual intervention retaining a safe working environment.

  • The process is consistent and repeatable.
