Auto Trolley Door-Closing

Our fully automated trolley door-closing system enables each full capacity trolley to be held in place and the door mechanically closed and secured, and therefore the milk bottles secured and safe, before leaving the trolley packer area. The trolley is then pushed onto a ramp and towards the open area where a robot head takes control of it and moves it towards a set of double-closing safety access doors (Halo system).

The trolley door-closing mechanism runs consistently with no manual input required and needs very little in the way of replacement or serviceable parts after thousands of hours of constant use.

The system also handles trolleys that aren’t perfectly straight or may have suffered small amounts of damage through the heavy re-use these trolleys get in their product life-cycle.
